Internet access as a Public Good versus a Commons
Gigi Sohn has been working with the American Association for Public Broadband. I need to ask her about how much of Broadband infrastructure should be a Public Good versus a Commons. A number of years ago, she cofounded Public Knowledge with David Bollier, who I got to know a bit at a conference in the aftermath of Occupy Wall Street. My wife and I were web developers #1 & #2 for the OWS website that organized 9,000 people into 100 working groups.
