As a reminder, the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Title II, Adult Education and Family Literacy Act (AEFLA) Special Projects grant application for the Integrated Education and Training (IET) Planning Grant must be submitted in the Next Generation Grant, Application and Cash Management System (NexSys) by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 to be considered for funding.

The application for this IET Planning Grant is open to Michigan’s current AEFLA Instruction, Institutional, and IELCE recipients for the grant period of January 2, 2024 through June 30, 2024. Successful applicants will implement a team-based approach to develop new IET program offerings with the intent of expanding access to IET for eligible adult education participants.

The 2023-24 WIOA IET Planning Grant Guidance and Requirements and other required documents are available on the Adult Education Program Administration page of the LEO-WD website.

Questions regarding the IET Planning Grant can be submitted to Kari Hiner at [email protected].
