I sucked a friend of mine int helping do a test for the 5 year plan in jersey and the book– And what we have is proof that the plan doesn’t even address basic and has pull from the state site about the history is a joke..

    – and it’s clear that this requires more of the data from our work, and specific docs – all of which we have

I’m doing new york filing tomorrow –which is due at 5Pm..

i also tried to get an account that does take the documents– i’m on a wait list…

============= if you have time, – i’l call ya after I send the NY stuff

In order to address your questions regarding fiber optics in New Jersey, regulatory filings, and the “DISS-CONNECTED” document, here’s a breakdown based on available information:

    1. **Previous Fiber Optic Plan for New Jersey**: New Jersey had initiatives like the State Broadband Initiative under the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009, which included programs like “ConnectingNJ” for developing a State Broadband Map and integrating broadband into local economies. However, this program ended in 2015 [oai_citation:1,Broadband for All: The Geography of Digital Equity in New Jersey | New Jersey Future](https://www.njfuture.org/research-reports/broadband-for-all-report/).

    2. **Creation of the Digital Divide**: The digital divide often results from a combination of factors, including policy decisions, infrastructure investment levels, and geographical challenges. Specific details about who created the digital divide in New Jersey would require more detailed historical and policy analysis.

    3. **Verizon’s Role and Funding**: Verizon has been a major player in fiber optic deployment in New Jersey. It’s known that telecommunications companies, including Verizon, often receive funds or incentives to build out infrastructure, but the exact details of such agreements and the amounts involved would need to be extracted from specific regulatory filings or financial reports.

    4. **Allocation of Wireline Utility Budgets to Wireless**: This would require detailed financial analysis of Verizon’s spending and budget allocations over the years, which would typically be detailed in their financial reports or regulatory filings.

    5. **Amount Collected in New Jersey**: Determining the total amount collected by Verizon in New Jersey for fiber optic deployment would require access to specific financial data or regulatory filings from the company.

    6. **Coverage by the 5-Year Plan**: The extent to which “DISS-CONNECTED” is covered by any 5-year plan would depend on the specifics of that plan, which would need to be compared point-by-point with the document’s contents.

    7. **Material Facts in “DISS-CONNECTED” and the 5-Year Plan**: Identifying and comparing material facts between “DISS-CONNECTED” and any 5-year plan would require a detailed analysis of both documents.

    8. **Dark Fiber in New Jersey**: Dark fiber refers to installed fiber optic cables that are not yet in use. Whether or not there is unused dark fiber in New Jersey would depend on the specific infrastructure deployments and their usage status, which might be detailed in regulatory filings or infrastructure reports.

    9. **Verizon NJ as State Telecommunications Utility**: Verizon New Jersey is a major telecommunications provider in the state, but whether it’s officially designated as the state telecommunications utility would depend on state regulations and designations.

    10. **Title II Classification of Fiber Optic Wire**: Whether fiber optic wire is classified under Title II would depend on regulatory decisions made by entities like the FCC and how they classify broadband services.

    11. **Timeline of Fiber Optic Statements and Fulfillment in New Jersey**: Creating a timeline of fiber optic statements and their fulfillment would require a historical review of public statements, commitments, and regulatory filings made by telecommunications providers in New Jersey, particularly Verizon. For the most accurate and detailed answers, it would be advisable to review the specific regulatory filings, financial reports of the companies involved, and state telecommunications policies.
